Dr. Scott Forbes is an assistant professor in the department of physical education at Brandon University. He received his Ph.D. in Physical Education and Recreation from the University of Alberta. Scott also has an International Olympic Committee Diploma in Sport Nutrition.
Dr. Forbes’ primary interest is in sports science, focusing on various nutritional and exercise interventions to enhance performance. Specifically, his research focuses on nutritional interventions to enhance both muscle and brain function. He has worked as a personal trainer as well as an athlete consultant for several professional and varsity level sports teams. We are so happy to have him on the TDF Sports team.
